Brighter, in less time.

Professional whitening uses a higher concentration of bleaching gel than anything on a drugstore shelf, applied under supervision so it works faster, more evenly, and with less sensitivity.

Overview

Professional whitening, in-office or on your own schedule.

Teeth naturally darken over time from coffee, tea, wine, tobacco, and simple aging of the enamel. Whitening doesn't repair anything, it bleaches the stain out of the enamel and the layer beneath it, using a peroxide-based gel at a concentration far higher than what's legally sold over the counter.

We offer two paths: an in-office treatment that delivers noticeable results in about an hour under controlled conditions, and a take-home kit with custom-fitted trays you wear for a set number of days. Both use professional-strength gel; the tradeoff is speed versus convenience.

Whitening only works on natural tooth enamel. It won't change the color of crowns, veneers, bonding, or fillings, which is something we'll flag up front if you have visible dental work in your smile line.

Is It Right For You?

Whitening works best on stains, not on structural issues.

Whitening is one of the lowest-commitment cosmetic treatments we offer, but it isn't the right fix for every kind of discoloration. At your exam we'll tell you honestly whether it will get you the result you want.

Yellowed Teeth From Age or Diet

Coffee, tea, wine, and normal aging cause even, surface-level staining that whitening handles well.

Wanting A Boost Before An Event

In-office whitening gives visible results in about an hour, timed to a wedding, interview, or photos.

Tobacco Or Long-Term Staining

Deeper, older stains usually respond, though they may need a longer take-home course to fully lift.

Healthy Teeth, No Restorations In The Smile Line

Whitening needs natural enamel to work on, so it's a fit when your visible teeth haven't been crowned or bonded.

Prefer Gradual Results On Your Own Time

Take-home trays let you whiten over one to two weeks at whatever pace fits your schedule.

The Process

From consultation to a brighter smile.

01

Shade Check & Exam

We check your current shade, confirm your teeth and gums are healthy enough to whiten comfortably, and flag any crowns or fillings that won't lighten with the rest.

02

Choose In-Office Or Take-Home

In-office gives faster results in a single visit. Take-home uses custom trays molded to your teeth, worn for a set period at home.

03

Whitening Treatment

In-office sessions apply professional gel in timed increments over about an hour. Take-home trays are worn daily or nightly for the number of days we recommend.

04

Shade Comparison & Touch-Up Plan

We compare your new shade to your starting point and give you a simple plan, usually leftover trays and gel, for touching up as the color naturally fades over time.

Professional Whitening vs. Over-The-Counter

Why the drugstore kit isn't the same treatment.

Over-the-counter strips and kits use a much lower concentration of bleaching agent than professional products are allowed to, and they aren't fitted to your teeth. That means slower, less even, and less predictable results.

Does professional whitening hurt?

Some patients notice mild, temporary sensitivity to cold during or right after treatment, which usually fades within a day. We use gel formulated to limit that, and can adjust the strength or timing if you're prone to sensitive teeth.

How long does whitening last?

Most patients stay noticeably lighter for one to three years, depending on diet and habits like coffee, red wine, or tobacco. Touch-up trays make it easy to maintain the result without redoing the full treatment.

Will whitening work on my crowns or veneers?

No. Whitening only lightens natural enamel, so existing crowns, veneers, bonding, and fillings won't change color and can end up looking mismatched against newly whitened teeth. We'll talk through options if that's a concern for your smile.

What's the difference between in-office and take-home whitening?

In-office delivers a bigger jump in one appointment because we apply a stronger gel under supervision. Take-home uses custom trays over one to two weeks and can reach a similar final result at a more gradual pace.

Is over-the-counter whitening just as good?

No. Store-bought products use a lower concentration by law and aren't fitted to your teeth, so results are slower, less even, and harder to predict. Professional whitening gets you further, faster, with less guesswork.

Can I eat and drink normally afterward?

We recommend avoiding coffee, red wine, and other staining foods for about 48 hours after treatment while your enamel is most porous. After that, normal eating and drinking is fine.
