Plan the whole smile. Not one tooth.

Smile design combines whitening, veneers, bonding, and gum contouring into one coordinated plan, built around your face and goals, instead of fixing each issue as a separate, disconnected decision.

Overview

A coordinated plan for a smile with more than one issue.

Most smiles that bother patients have more than one thing going on at once, a little gum showing, a couple of uneven teeth, some staining, maybe a gap. Treating each of those separately can work, but it often means redoing part of the plan because the pieces weren't designed to fit together.

Smile design starts with the end result and works backward. We map your face, lips, and gum line, decide what combination of treatments gets you there, and sequence them so each step supports the next, gum contouring before veneers, whitening before shade-matching, and so on.

It's a bigger commitment than any single cosmetic treatment, in time, cost, and often in reversibility if veneers are involved. We only recommend a full design when the case genuinely calls for coordinating multiple procedures, not as an upsell for something a single treatment would fix.

Is It Right For You?

When a full design makes more sense than one-off fixes.

Smile design is worth it when several things need attention at once. If it's really just one issue, we'll say so and recommend the simpler, cheaper option instead.

Multiple Concerns At Once

Staining, unevenness, and gum coverage together are better solved with one coordinated plan than three separate visits.

Planning A Major Life Event

Weddings and milestone events are common reasons to invest in a full, coordinated result on a timeline.

Uneven Teeth Across The Whole Smile

When several teeth need reshaping to match, planning them together avoids a patchwork look.

Gummy Smile Combined With Tooth Issues

Contouring and veneers planned together get the proportions right in one sequence, not two.

Wanting To See The Result Before Committing

A digital preview lets you approve the planned shape and shade before any tooth is touched.

Not A Fit For A Single Isolated Issue

One chipped tooth or a shade you want to lift doesn't need a full design, bonding or whitening alone will do it.

The Process

From full evaluation to a finished smile.

01

Comprehensive Evaluation

We assess your teeth, gums, bite, and facial proportions, and talk through what you want to change and why, so the plan is built around your actual goals.

02

Digital Smile Design & Preview

We map out which procedures address which issues and in what order, and can show you a digital preview of the planned outcome before committing to treatment.

03

Sequenced Treatment

Procedures happen in the order that supports the best result, typically gum work first, then shaping treatments like veneers or bonding, then a final whitening pass to unify the shade.

04

Final Review & Fine-Tuning

Once everything is in place, we compare the result against the original plan and make small adjustments until it matches what you approved.

Full Smile Design vs. One-Off Cosmetic Fixes

When coordinating pays off, and when it doesn't.

A one-off fix is faster and cheaper when there's really only one issue to address. A full design earns its cost when several procedures need to work together toward one consistent result.

Get a Quote

Smile design cost depends entirely on which procedures are included in your plan, a design combining whitening and bonding costs far less than one built around multiple veneers. Because it's an elective, cosmetic plan, dental insurance does not cover smile design. We offer financing through Lending Club and CareCredit, and Membership Club members receive a discount, and we'll give you a full breakdown by procedure before you commit to the plan.

Book Consultation
How is smile design different from just getting veneers?

Veneers are one treatment among several that might be included in a smile design. A full design plans how veneers, whitening, bonding, and gum contouring work together, if more than one is needed, rather than treating each as a standalone decision.

Will I see what my smile will look like before treatment starts?

Yes, for most full designs we provide a digital preview based on your photos and scans, so you can approve the planned shape and shade before any procedure begins.

How long does a full smile design take?

Most plans run four to eight weeks from first procedure to final result, depending on which treatments are included and how they need to be sequenced. We'll give you a specific timeline once your plan is finalized.

Do I have to do everything at once?

No. We can sequence a design over a longer period if that fits your budget or schedule better, as long as the order still supports the final result. We'll tell you if breaking it up changes the outcome.

What if I only need one thing fixed?

Then we'll recommend the single treatment that fixes it and skip the full design, we don't push a bigger plan than your case actually needs.

Is smile design reversible?

It depends on which procedures are included. Whitening and gum contouring don't affect enamel structure, but veneers require permanent enamel removal. We'll walk through exactly what's reversible and what isn't for your specific plan.
